Challenges:
The primary challenge was to create content that would resonate across a wide spectrum of audiences—students, faculty, and industry professionals—while maintaining the academic rigor and depth that CBS is known for. We needed to:

  • Simplify complex academic concepts without losing their essence.
  • Engage a diverse demographic, from undergraduates to executive education participants.
  • Utilize various media formats to cater to different learning preferences.

Approach:

  1. Creative Direction and Concept Development: We began by understanding the core themes and objectives of CBS. This involved collaborating with researchers and educators to ensure that our content was not only accurate but also compelling and relatable.
  1. Organizing and Producing Media Products: We organized the production of a wide range of media, from video course materials to corporate videos, vox pops, interviews, and social media reels. Each piece was crafted to serve as a window into the insights and learnings offered at CBS.
  1. Development of Teaching Materials: We transformed complex academic concepts into engaging visual narratives. This included everything from pre-production planning and filming to editing, motion graphics, and final delivery. Each stage was meticulously managed to ensure high-quality, impactful content.

Overcoming Challenges with Creativity:

  • Engagement Through Storytelling: By weaving narratives that contextualize academic content, we made subjects like dark tourism and entrepreneurial challenges more relatable and intriguing.
  • Diverse Media Formats: We utilized a variety of formats to cater to different learning styles. Whether through video presentations, interactive assignments, or social media snippets, our content was designed to captivate and educate.
  • Collaborative Production: Working closely with CBS’s key players, we ensured that each piece of content was aligned with the school’s educational goals and brand values.

Results:
The outcome was a suite of media products that significantly enhanced the educational experience at CBS. Our video course programs for Bachelor, Graduate, MBA, and Master programs were particularly successful, receiving positive feedback for their ability to make complex topics accessible and engaging. The social media content we produced also saw high engagement rates, helping to amplify CBS’s reach and influence.

In summary, my partnership with Copenhagen Business School highlights the ability to overcome educational challenges through creative storytelling and strategic media production. By bringing academic insights to life, we not only enriched the learning experience but also helped CBS connect more deeply with its diverse audience.
