Woven Places (Vävda rum) – Sweden’s largest national augmented reality exhibition.
Vävda rum redefined public art by merging digital innovation with physical space, creating an immersive experience that reimagines urban environments through the lens of augmented reality. As creative director, I led the strategic vision and production of a multi-layered film portfolio, including a short advertising film, an in-depth documentary, and a social media reel designed to guide audiences through the exhibition’s locations.
The project showcased how AR technology could seamlessly integrate with public art, transforming cities like Malmö, Stockholm, Arvidsjaur, and Orust into dynamic canvases where local communities interacted with sculptural social networks, reindeer herds, and water spirits shaped by climate data.

Documentary film
By filming locals engaging with the artworks across diverse settings, the films highlighted the interplay between technology, ecology, and human connection. The goal was to foster intergenerational dialogue, promote ecological awareness, and captivate younger audiences through digital storytelling.
Each location became a chapter in a cohesive narrative, blending the ephemeral with the enduring, proving that art, when woven with technology, can transcend boundaries and resonate with both the local and the global.
