Chronicle of monotony
Through the fractured glass of shuttered storefronts, the photographs frame moments of movement, people passing by, shadows stretching, light flickering, against the stark emptiness of decayed facades.
The project explores the tension between the fleeting presence of life and the enduring stillness of decay. Visual contrasts emerge: the warmth of a passing figure against the coldness of peeling paint, the flicker of a distant light against the void of an empty window. These images are an record of abandonment and a meditation on how time lingers in the spaces we live in.
