Sunraker, led by the visionary Sophus Alf, is a Copenhagen-based quartet that merges the vastness of shoegaze with the nostalgic intimacy of the ’80s. Their music, a seamless blend of grandeur and fragility, takes you on a sonic journey through lush soundscapes and powerful vocals.
Captured live in the intimate setting of a Copenhagen theatre blackbox, this project offers a raw, unfiltered glimpse into the band’s ability to fill any space with their immersive sound and distinct vocal performances.
Collaboratively crafting the choreography for the music video, we balanced the group’s dynamic, high-energy performance with intentional moments of quiet reflection, allowing the visual narrative to shift seamlessly between intensity and calm.
This nuanced interplay of movement and mood was essential to mirroring the music’s emotional arc, ensuring the visual language could adapt to the song’s evolving atmosphere.
