Change
Is a public art exhibition and visual identity project that transformed Lyngsies Plads, a high-traffic transit hub a Nørrebro St. Copenhagen, into a temporary gallery. The project required a visual identity that could compete with urban noise, catch a commuter’s attention in four seconds, and unite eight different artists under one cohesive look.
The process
Behind the project
I developed this project from the initial idea to final execution. I secured the funding, managed partnerships with local authorities, curated the artists, and designed the entire visual identity. The design uses a strict color palette and strategic typography to guide people through the space without disrupting their daily flow. It proved that thoughtful spatial design can change how people respect a public square, as the exhibition stood completely untouched by graffiti throughout the entire period.
The project is supported by:
Lygten St. Områdefornyelsen, Bispebjergbakke, Københavns Kommune, and Bispebjerg Lokaludvalg with 25.000 Kr.
Exhibiting artists:
Kasper Christiansen, Anette Ørnberg, Felicia Engstrøm, RYTTER & RYTTER, Tine Rinds, Cornelia Christensen.
